How to find Bury Football Club
Gigg Lane
From the North: Exit M66, jct 2, take Bury Road (A58) for 0.5 miles, then turn into Heywood Street and follow this into Parkhills Road until the end. At traffic lights turn left into Manchester Road (A56), then left into Gigg Lane.
From South, East and West: Exit M60 (formerly M62) jct 17, take Bury Road (A56) for 3 miles then turn right into Gigg Lane.
ALL ROUTES AFTER EXITING MOTORWAYS ARE SIGNPOSTED TO THE FOOTBALL GROUND.
Lower Gigg
From the ground, turn right onto Gigg Lane and follow the road past the cemetery. Carry on down the road, and you will see Lower Gigg on your right hand side.
Goshen Sports Centre
Exit main club car park at the ground, turn left onto Gigg Lane, and left again onto Manchester Road (A56). Turn left at first petrol station onto Tennyson Avenue and follow road round to Goshen Sports Centre.
How to find away venues
Barnsley
Leave the M1 at Junction 37 and take the A628 towards Barnsley. Stay on this road (the ground is signposted) and you will eventually see the ground on your right. There is a fair sized car park close to the ground
Blackburn Rovers (Brockhall Training Ground)
From the M60: Leave M60 at jct 18. Join M66 and travel on to the very end of the motorway.
At the roundabout take second left A56 (A6068/M65) signposted Clitheroe.
At Traffic Lights follow signs for Clitheroe. At the next set of traffic lights turn left onto A671 (Clitheroe) until the junction with the A680.
Bear right at the traffic lights following signs for Whalley B6246. At the bottom of the hill you reach Whalley.
Turn left at the roundabout following signs for Preston A59. When you reach the large roundabout, follow signs for A59 Old Langho 3rd exit.
Turn right at the Northcote Manor Hotel and follow the road until you see signs for Brockhall Village.
Once you have turned left into Brockhall Village, there is a large building on your left, which is the Blackburn Rovers Academy. You need to come to the security barrier and ask for directions to the First Team Training Ground.

Blackburn Rovers (St Bede’s High School)
From the M65 (accessible from the M66 (Manchester) and M6 (Birmingham to Carlisle) and M61 (Manchester to Preston)).
Leave the M65 at Junction 5, then take the A674 to Blackburn. At the next lights turn right, keep on this road until you come to a mini roundabout (Fielden Arms at the Roundabout). Turn right, continue along this road straight through the next mini roundabout until the school appears on your left. Go past the school and turn left into Green Lane, the entrance to the school is at the end of the railings on your left.
Blackpool (Squires Gate Training Ground)
Drive to the end of the M55, stay left at the roundabout following the signs A5230 South Shore/Airport. At the next roundabout take the third exit signed Squares Gate/Airport/South Shore. Drive for approx 2 miles through five sets of traffic lights. Approx 200 yards past the fifth set of lights which are at the main entrance to Blackpool Airport, turn left into Westgate Drive opposite a Shell Garage. Drive approx 100 yards along West Gate Drive and turn right into Martin Avenue. The training ground entrance is about 80 yards on the left.

Blackpool (Ballam Road, Lytham St Annes)
Take Junction 32 off the M6 and join the M55 (A6 Blackpool & North Shore). At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A583 (Preston New Road) for 0.4 Miles. Turn right onto Whitehill Road, then immediately left onto Peel Road for 1.6 miles. Turn right onto Ballam Road.
Bradford City (Hanson School)
Leave M62 at Jct 26 and follow M606 Bradford spur to 2nd exit.
Upon leaving the M606, follow signs for A650 to Keighley. On joining Wakefield Road (A650), travel towards City Centre-go straight ahead at two roundabouts. (First roundabout has a large church on the right, second comes immediately after passing under a railway bridge.
Afetr Second roundabout on WAKEFIELD ROAD (A650) follow signs for Shipley, keighley (large green signs on overhead gantry). You are now on the Inner Ring Road.
Go straight ahead through SEVEN sets of traffic lights until you reach a comp[lex of MODERN RETAIL UNITS (including Tesco and Staples) on the left. on the right there are three car showrooms (Audi, VW and Citroen)
At this point you should be in the right hand lane to filter right up Kings Road at a set of traffic lights.
Continue up Kings Road through the traffic lights for approximately half a mile. At the point where the road branches off to the left (there is a large grass triangle and a sign for "Hanson School Sports centre"), turn Right into SUTTON AVENUE.
the school driveway is at the end of Sutton Avenue.
Car parking is available next to Main Entrance

Burnley (Gawthorpe)
Exit jct 10 on the M65, taking the 2nd exit off the roundabout (signposted Padiham). Straight through three sets of traffic lights, you come to a pelican crossing with a National Trust sign on the left hand side for Gawthorpe Hall. Take a sharp right taking the entrance to Gawthorpe Hall down the lane and enter car park saying Burnley Football Club only.

Burnley (Nelson FC)
Leave the M65 at junction 13, then at roundabout take the 4th exit onto Scotland Road - A682 (signposted Nelson) Entering Nelson. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Reedyford Road and Turn right onto Leeds Road. Nelson is 200 yards down the road
Carlisle United (Frenchfield)
From South: Follow A6 through Eamont Bridge to roundabout at top of hill. Take the third exit sign posted A686 Alston. Follow road for 500 yards and take the second right turn, sign posted Hunter Hall and Frenchfield. Pitches are 400 yards at the bottom of the hill.

Chester City (Abbey gate College)
From the M6 South, pick up M56 at Junction 20 for Chester/North Wales. Exit junction 15 onto M53, Exit at Junction 12 and turn right at Roundabout, onto the next roundabout, turn left onto the A41, proceed through traffic lights to the next roundabout and take your third exit going past Sainsbury’s on the left. Continue through the estate until a T Junction and turn left. At the Rake & Pickle Pub, turn left signposted Saighton, follow the road for approx 1 1/2 miles until junction on the right. Turn right and take second left into Abbey gate College

Everton Youth Academy (Netherton)
From South: Get onto the Liverpool-bound M62.
Leave the M62 at junction 6 and follow the M57 towards Southport to the end.
At the the large roundabout take the second exit and follow the A5036 Dunnings Bride Road towards Bootle, turn left at the third set of traffic lights onto Park Lane and the Academy is immediately on you right.

Halifax Town - Hipperholme and Lightcliffe Sports Collage, Stoney Lane, Hipperholme
From the M62, take Junction 26 and take the A58 to Halifax. Continue through the first set of lights. At the second set of lights, turn left towards Brighouse. At the next set of lights, turn right into Wakefield Road. Travel up the hill approx 1/2 a mile, the Sun Pub is on your left, turn left into Stoney Lane. The School is situated on your right approximately 150 yards.
Macclesfield Town (The Derby Fields, Alderley Road, Macclesfield)
From M6 North: Leave M6 at Junction 19, take 3rd exit at roundabout onto A556 sign posted Northwich/Knutsford. At 1st set of traffic lights turn left (sign posted Knutsford), continue until next roundabout and take the 3rd exit. At the second set of traffic lights turn left (sign posted A357 Macclesfield) passing knutsford Railway Station on left. Follow the A537 towards Macclesfield through the village of Chelford. Continue on A537 for approximately 3 miles until you reach a traffic island (Car show room on the left) turn left 1st exit into Fallibroome ROad. At next roundabout take 1st exit into Priory Lane and follow to the end (passing through 3 mini islands). At the end of Priory Lane turn left onto Alderley Road. Entrance to playing fields is approx 100 yards on the right.
From M6 South: Leave M6 at Junction 17 and follow A534 to Congleton. From COngleton follow A536 towards Macclesfield. Stay on A536 all the way into Macclesfield until you reach traffic island. Go straight on at Traffic Island (BUPA Hospital on left.) At next traffic Island take 1st exit into Prestbury Road and at mini Island continue straight on (Still Prestbury Road). Continue for approx 1 1/4 miles. Entrance to playing fields is on the right hand side approx 100 yards after you go through the staggered crossroads

Manchester United (Three Venues)
For Carrington: From jct 8 of the M60, follow A6144 (M) which then becomes a regular A-road. Having passed the Manchester Metropolitain University Sports Centre, turn left onto Isherwood Road, and the Carrington Training Centre is on your left. (Please note: No spectators allowed for the fixture at Carrington this year).

For Littleton Road: Leave M60 (still on some maps as M62) at jct 17. Take the M56 for Salford (Bury New Road), following this road for three miles, and at the eighth set of traffic lights (jct Great Cheetham Street / Bury New Road), turn right (landmark Broughton Baths).
Go through two sets of traffic lights and at the roundabout take the last exit (Littleton Road). Go along Littleton Road for approximately 1/2 mile and turn left into Ayrshire Road (seventh turning on the left hand side). Entrance to the training ground is at the end of Ayrshire Road.

The Cliff Training Ground: Exit M60 at Junction 17, take the A56 road for Salford (Bury New Road), follow the A56 for three miles and at the eight set of traffic lights (Junction with Gt Cheetham Street/Bury New Road) turn right (Landmark - Broughton baths), at the second set of traffic lights turn right into Lower Broughton Road. The Cliff Training Ground is approx 400 yards on the left hand side.

From M60: Leave M60 at jct 22 following signs for Oldham (A62).
At 2nd set of lights, turn right for astroturf pitches.
At 3rd set of lights, turn right at Bridgewater Pub for grass pitches.
From Manchester: Take A62 from Manchester. Keep on this road for approximately 4 miles.
When you pass Roxy Cinema at Hollinwood, turn right at 2nd set of lights for astroturf pitches, or right at 3rd set of lights for grass pitches.

Oldham Athletic (The Lancaster Club, British Aerospace Training Ground)
From East/West: Leave M62 at Jct 20. Take OLDHAM signs on A627M. Continue on this road to the end of the A627M ignoring Oldham turnoff, as this becomes the A633 to MANCHESTER. Keep on this road past several pelican crossings and traffic lights. When you reach the restricted area, take right hand lane and look for gap in central reservation leading to LANCASTER CLUB (Approx 200 yards before junction with A62).
From Manchester: Take A62 from City Centre, after approx 3 miles look for A633 on left, turn along A633 and look for entrance to LANCASTER CLUB on left
From Ashton Under Lyne: Take A627 from ASHTON. After approx two miles, look for signpost to MANCHESTER (Opposite Park Cake Bakeries). Continue on this road to junction with A62. Join A62 and continue in Manchester direction. After approx 1 mile. look for A633 on right. Turn along A633 for approx 200 yards

Preston North End (Preston Sports Arena)
Preston Sports Arena is situated some 2 miles outside Preston town centre and 10 minutes from the M6/M55 junction 32.
Leave M6 at jct 32 to follow the M55, and come off at the first exit, jct 1. Take the first slip road towards Preston then first left to get onto Tom Benson Way (B6241).
Signs from the motorway and the town centre direct cars and coaches to the main entrance on Tom Benson Way.

Preston North End (Springfields)
Leave M6 at jct 31 go up the hill towards preston come to a mini rounabout (hesketh arms) go right onto Blackpool rd, stay on this road approx 4 miles going past Deepdale on your left, through a series of traffic lights past a Chrysler car dealership on your left. keep going until you see the Toby Carvery Pub, turn right opposite the pub into Tudor Av,then sharp left into Greenside Av, then right into Dodney drive. 100 yards down Dodney drive,Springfields is on your right.
Rochdale (Three venues)
For Castle Irwell Student Village: Take the A56 Bury New Road heading towards Prestwich and Salford. Follow this road through the traffic lights at Hilton Lane/Scholes Lane (A6044) and continue on towards Higher Broughton until the traffic lights at Great Cheetham Street West.
Turn right along Great Cheetham Street West (A576) and head towards the traffic lights at Lower Broughton Road. Go straight on through the traffic lights onto Cromwell Road. Castle Irwell student village is on the right hand side approx 200 yards after the traffic lights. Enter the car park via the security system which has gates which will be activated by the attendant.
For Heywood Sports Centre: Leave M62 at jct 19 and follow the A6046, signed Heywood. Once off the motorway, take 2nd left (at Texaco garage) into Coronation Avenue. Go to T-junction and turn right into Manchester Road which becomes Manchester Street as you approach Heywood Town Centre.
As you approach the end of Church Street, there will be a set of traffic lights with a church on the right hand side and two banks on the left. Go through these lights and bear right over mini roundabout with Morrisons supermarket on the left. Take next left onto West Starkey Street, and the sports centre, astroturf pitch and car park will be on the right hand side.
For Hopwood Hall College - From M62 Jct 19: Follow A6046 sign posted Middleton. Follow Hollin Lane (A6046) down steep hill to traffic lights. Turn left onto Rochdale Road (A664). Follow this road to second set of traffic lights and turn left into Hopwood Hall College. Map
For Hopwood Hall College - From M62 Jct 20: Follow A627(M) sign posted Oldham. At first junction follow sign to Middleton and turn off onto Slattocks Link Road. Go straight over a roundabout onto A664 (Rochdale Road). At first set of traffic lights turn right into Hopwood Hall College. Map
For Siddal Moor Sports College: Leave M62 at jct 19 and follow the A6046, signed Heywood. Once off the motorway, take 2nd left (at Texaco garage) into Coronation Avenue. Go to T-junction and turn left signed A6045 Manchester.
Continue for approx. 400 yards and take 1st right onto Newhouse Road. The college and car park is 300 yards on the left. Enter the college through entrance signed JD Sports Centre (to the left of the college as you look at it).
Stockport County (Ridgeway Road)
Follow M60 past Trafford Centre then exit at junction for M56 (Manchester Airport). On approach to M56, take second exit for A560 (Altrincham). Turn right at roundabout, following A560 to Altrincham through four sets of traffic lights up to the roundabout.
Go straight across and through first set of traffic lights. At second traffic lights, turn left for A5144, and then take the third left at the church into Ridgeway Road. The training ground is 1/3 mile on the right.

Tranmere Rovers
From the North: Take the Mersey Tunnel (Queensway - Birkenhead). After toll booths (£1.20), bear right onto the flyover - this descends into Borough Road, continue along Borough Road for approz 1 mile - the Ground is on the right
From the South/East: Exit the M53 at Junction 4 - take the 4th exit at the roundabout (B5151). After approx 2.5 miles, turn right into Prenton Road West.
The Ground is signposted on both North and South/East Routes.
PLEASE NOTE: NO PARKING IS ALLOWED ON INGLEBOROUGH ROAD - Car Clamping will be enforced. Please use Car Park No1 at Prenton Park (Located in front of the Prentonian Suite). It is no more than 5 minutes walk to the training ground
Wigan Athletic (Christopher Park)
From East: Exit M61 at jct 6 (signposted Chorley, Horwich A6027) and take first exit at roundabout.
(NB: Do not take exit at jct 5 which is signposted Wigan).
At next roundabout, take first left (signposted Westhoughton A6, Wigan B5238) into Chorley Road.
After 0.3 miles, turn right (signposted Wigan B5238).
After 1.8 miles, turn left at Aspull War Memorial (signposted Wigan B5238).
After 2.2 miles, just after Earl of Balcarres Pub, turn right at traffic lights and go down hill getting into right hand lane.
Turn right at lights onto Central Park Way, and follow this road past the hospital until you see The Cherry Gardens pub on right hand side.
Turn left at roundabout, then immediately get into the right hand lane. Cut accross oncoming traffic then turn left into Spencer Road.
Follow Spencer Road for approx. 1.5 miles (road becomes Beech Hill Avenue) down the hill to major crossroads (with traffic lights).
Turn right here, then follow this road which has a sharp right band, follow by a sharp left. 100 yards after the second bend, turn right into
Woodrush Road (signed Wigan Tech ARLFC) and ground is 100 yards on the left.

York City (YCFC Training Ground)
Take the M62 East, take the M1 North. Leave the M1 North onto the A64 to York. Stay on there fopr approx 8 miles, takes the A1237 York ringroad. Follow the B1363 to Helmsley (For approx three miles). Look out for The Mercer & Challis Garden Centre. Turn left at the Garden Centre.
